Awaken your muscles and brain by walking through the medieval alleys of Nocera’s historic centre, what better way to start the day? Silvia, our Town Angel will let you discover Nocera between past and present through a fast walk up and down the alleys and the narrow streets of the village.
What will you do
Lace up your running shoes and wear comfortable clothing; you will start the day walking, breathing clean air, drinking water from the renowned fountains of Nocera, observing beautiful views and listening few stories between legend and reality about the village.
You will meet under the arch of Porta Vecchia and from there you will start your walking through a path created by Civicarte (a cultural association of artists from Nocera).
The path will take you through the streets and squares of Nocera Umbra. It will be a mix of ascents and descents where, together with Silvia, you will discover the main monuments of the village; the churches; the historical buildings and curious legends that lie behind these places. And to hydrate yourself, you will also have the opportunity to drink the ‘miraculous water’ that flows from the fountain of Juame Plensa!
The walk has a loop route and will end exactly at the meeting point; from there, get ready for a nice shower, a coffee and off to work, you’ll face everything with more energy and positivity! 🔥
