Description
The rooms are located in a very characteristic B&B: the accommodation brings to life an old stone house in the centre of the medieval village of Dolceacqua, respecting its memory and original forms. The fine decorations created during the renovation add a touch of creativity inspired by the green of a garden.
Accommodation
Set in the historic centre of Dolceacqua, this accommodation is spread over two floors: there is the entrance with the kitchen, a bedroom and a bathroom for each floor and a beautiful terrace with views.
The two double bedrooms have both a a private bathroom with a hairdryer and free toiletries. The living area, for common use, has a view on the main square of Dolceacqua and there is a spacious sofa with coffee table.
There is a kitchen equipped with all the necessities and a table with chairs where you can work or enjoy your meal. Upon request, each morning a breakfast with coffee and croissants is served. From the living room, there is a beautiful staircase totally decorated that leads to the upper floor, which is furnished with simplicity.
Finally, on the top floor a sitting area with a coffee table overlooking the panoramic terrace at the foot of the Doria Castle of Dolceacqua and it is designed and equipped for having breakfast outside or to have some relaxing moments.
Location
Dolceacqua is a typical medieval village in the Nervia valley, along the Nervia river. The oldest part of the village is dominated by the Doria castle and is called “Terra” (Téra in the local dialect) by the locals.
The modern part, called “Borgo”, stretches out on the opposite side. Dolceacqua is a small village but rich in history, legends, traditions, art and culture. In the main street you could find several bars, shops and “Alimentari” (local mini market) where you could buy local products and food.

Getting around the area
Dolceacqua is situated in the hinterland of western Liguria, in the Val Nervia, just a few minutes from the Riviera dei Fiori (Ventimiglia, Bordighera, Sanremo). For those who enjoy cycling there is a cycle path that connects to the sea promenade in about 20-25 minutes.
The nearest railway station is Ventimiglia (10 km from Dolceacqua), from where you can reach the village by a convenient bus service run by Riviera Trasporti. The nearest international airport is Nice (50 km away), alternatively Genova airport.
