The loft used to be an old barn for donkeys on the edge of the chestnut grove, 10 minutes walking from the old town center. The little apartment has been completely renovated with a refined style, the interior design is a mix of modern and rustic elements with an open space style.


The house is spread over 2 levels, on the ground floor, there is an open space: a modern and well equipped kitchen at one side, the dining and living area on the other side. The little living area is equipped with a sofa bed suitable for a child. At the ground floor there is the modern bathroom with shower. On the mezzanine floor; the double bedroom with a large double bed is located.

The house is surrounded by a private garden, the rear overlooks the chestnut grove, an intimate and private space, a great place to have an early morning coffee, sip a drink at sunset or for outdoors lunches and dinners after work.

On the entrance porch, at guests’ disposal, a wood-burning oven for making pizza and in the garden a grill for summer barbecues.

A few meters from the house, a synergistic vegetable garden is available to guests. You will be able to collect your own fresh vegetables and aromatic herbs to prepare your meals.

This enchanting Tuscan town is located almost in the center between Firenze and Rome and offers one of the most particular natural landscape. Santa Fiora lies on a hill on the side of Monte Amiata. The historic center is surrounded by chestnut trees, wild landscapes and the source of Fiora River.

The town is split into three neighbouroods: Castello, Borgo and Montecatino. Each one of them is a different environment with unique atmospheres: historical monuments, wide landscapes and characteristics streets make this village one of the most beautiful in Italy!

Getting around the area

Once you’ve reached the village by car, you could continue the discovery of this place on foot. This medieval city is the hometown of some cultural and historical attractions, like the Sforza Cesarini’s Palazzo del Conte, or the pictoresque Church of Sant’Agostino.

In Santa Fiora, once you’ve had a look around its naroow streets, admiring beautiful scenes in the valley of Fiora, Monte Calvo and Monte Labbro, you have to take a visit to the Peschiera: It was a part of a noble garden then transformed into a little lake in the middle of the town and surrounded by an enchanting English garden. A particular flora grows on this place and reflects on its water, making the park cool and shady, filled with many species of flowers. It’s definitely one of the most suggestive spot!
