The house has recently been completely renovated and is located in the “borgo” district of Dolceacqua. It’s an apartment on the 1st floor (no elevator).

Accomodation
The accomodation has 1 bedroom with a double bed, a modern private bathroom with shower and a living room with equipped kitchenette and TV. Here you could also work remotely without distraction thanks to the high speed wifi connection.

The flat is situated in the centre of the village of Dolceacqua. Accessible by foot, as it is located in the typical “caruggi” alleys, close to the main square full of typical restaurants and delicious cafes overlooking the castle.
The highlight of the house is the romantic atmosphere and the attention to detail, but above all the comfort and functionality.

Location

Dolceacqua is a typical medieval village in the Nervia valley, along the Nervia river. The oldest part of the village is dominated by the Doria castle and is called “Terra” (Téra in the local dialect) by the locals.

The modern part, called “Borgo”, stretches out on the opposite side. Dolceacqua is a small village but rich in history, legends, traditions, art and culture. In the main street you could find several bars, shops and “Alimentari” (local mini market) where you could buy local products and food.

Getting around the area

Dolceacqua is situated in the hinterland of western Liguria, in the Val Nervia, just a few minutes from the Riviera dei Fiori (Ventimiglia, Bordighera, Sanremo). For those who enjoy cycling there is a cycle path that connects to the sea promenade in about 20-25 minutes.

The nearest railway station is Ventimiglia (10 km from Dolceacqua), from where you can reach the village by a convenient bus service run by Riviera Trasporti. The nearest international airport is Nice (50 km away), alternatively Genova airport
