Enjoy the fresh nature as you stroll through the lush Montepulciano woods: an expert local truffle hunter, together with his expertly trained dog, will be ready to guide you in discovering the secrets of the refined world of truffles!
What we offer
During the walk in the forest, accompanied by the truffle hunter and his trained dog, you can start searching for truffles.
During the experience, the guide will inform you about how to search for truffles, in which seasons you can find white truffles and how to eat them.
Searching for truffles takes time and patience, but when you least expect it, you will see the dog begin to wag his tail and sniff enthusiastically near the roots of a tree.
Remember: This will be a search, you may not find truffles, but we wish you lots of luck!
The search will last about 1h30, after which you will return to the historic centre of the village where, inside the truffle hunter’s family-run shop, you will be able to enjoy many tasty truffle products together with a glass of wine!
Please Note: Remember to wear shoes suitable for walking in the forest and comfortable clothing
