Roll up your sleeves and dig into a bowl of fresh pasta dough during this hands-on cooking class in the Langhe countryside!
What you will do
Learn all the tips, tricks and recipes passed down for generations, a perfect souvenir that keeps on giving. As you may have heard, Piedmont is not only famous for its truffles and wines, but also for its freshly made pasta, the classic dish prepared for Sunday lunch, in particular “Tajarin” and “Ravioli al Plin”…so down delicious!
Inside the NoveLab kitchen, you will spend two hours together with the village grannies preparing fresh pasta, from the beginning of the process with the choice of ingredients, to the final step, the tasting!
You will knead, roll out the pasta into fine veils and cut it into small nests of Tajarin; meanwhile the grannies will tell you some curiosities and secrets about the traditional dishes of Langhe Area and about the local community and be careful, they could talk for hours!!
