Nice room in a small family-run Bed & Breakfast, completely independent, overlooking a small patio. The B&B is placed in an old rural house dating back to about 1400, renovated to offer the comforts of modern life in a place where still reigns the peace and tranquility of the past.

Its strategic location allows you to easily reach all the attractions of the area: the Royal Palace of Caserta (Reggia), the village of the silk of San Leucio, the medieval village of Casertavecchia, the Carolino aqueduct, the Hermitage of St. Vitaliano, but at the same time offers an ideal stay for those who want to combine remote work, culture, nature and “feel at home”. The Family owning the B&B will welcome you and put at your disposal kindness, professionalism and courtesy.

Accommodation

The room is equipped with all comforts, and has a private entrance, private bathroom and air conditioning. It overlooks an ancient courtyard surrounded by hydrangeas, laurels, chichas, and geraniums where you can have breakfast. Upon arrival you will be given the keys so that you can move at your leisure, without respecting any time of return.

Location

The origins of the village of Casertavecchia are still uncertain, some writings date them back to around 861. It was originally built on a pre-existing Roman village.

In the beginning it belonged to the Longobards, then suffered the Norman domination, witnessed by the construction of the imposing Cathedral, then passed under the rule of the Swabians and then the Aragonese. With the Bourbons and the construction of the Royal Palace all activities moved to the plain which became the new center. The cathedral, the bell tower, the remains of the castle with its cylindrical tower and the streets of the entire village are evidence of this wonderful past.

Royal Palace (Reggia) of Caserta: Situated on the slopes of the Tifatini Hills, in the fertile Terra di Lavoro, it was the residence, after that of Naples, of the Bourbon royal family. It consists of an imposing rectangular building, divided inside into four courtyards. With its statuary groups, its ample fountains and falls and the lawn in the most elevated part, the park of the Reggia is the last grandiose example of a park of baroque conception. The complex has been planned by Luigi Vanvitelli, on the model of the royal palace of Versailles.

Getting around the area

The place is easily reachable both by car and by public transport and offers the possibility to park in the courtyard inside the structure cars and motorcycles, also provides guests with two bicycles to explore and move freely in the surrounding area.
