The Holiday Home is located in the historic center of Montepulciano, on the second floor of the historic Venturi Palace of the seventeenth century.

You will stay in one of the most known and loved villages in Italy, embellished by small works of art and in just few steps you will reach the best restaurants to taste typical dishes, fascinating cellars to enjoy excellent Vino Nobile, typical and characteristic shops and the main tourist attractions. The house is beautifully furnished and can accommodate up to a maximum of 10 people.

Accommodation

The residence is on 2 levels and consists of 5 bedrooms (3 double bedrooms and 2 twin bedrooms), 3 bathrooms, 3 living rooms, a dining room, a kitchen and a roof terrace with a breathtaking view.

The dining room, in seventeenth-century style, offers a large welcoming table where every morning you can enjoy your breakfast admiring the wonderful view from its window.

The living room is the ideal place to relax and fully enjoy the quiet of the house sipping a good glass of red wine or to do your daily work: elegant and comfortable sofas are surrounded by a charming decorated fireplace, antique furnishings, decorations, frescos and paintings ranging from the seventeenth to the nineteenth century. The lounge overlooks the main street of Montepulciano, the heart of the village, with its typical shops and restaurants.

On the upper floor there is one of the most suggestive corners of the house: a small sitting room with fireplace surrounded by an intimate atmosphere where you can relax at the end of the day.

The house has 3 suites:

  • Green Suite: This suite overlooks the main street of the village, it is composed of a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a comfortable private bathroom with shower. The master bedroom, with its details such as the dresser, the classic abatjour and the massive wooden wardrobe, brings back to the early twentieth century Tuscany. The second bedroom with single beds features ceilings with decorated wooden beams and a built-in wardrobe.
  • Blue Suite: This suite is the largest of the house and consists of a cozy double room that enjoys views of the Valdichiana and the Tuscan hills and a spacious twin room with two single beds that overlooks the main street of Montepulciano. The suite includes also a large bathroom in Provencal style equipped with a characteristic bathtub.
  • Red Suite: The Red Suite is located in a tower on the top floor of the residence, it’s a sumptuous and romantic double room with ribbon windows on 3 sides that offer a fascinating view of the surrounding hills and historic village. The suite is embellished by a small interior living room with red leather armchairs and a private bathroom with jetted tub and Val d’Orcia marble finishes.

It’s located in the middle of the iconic Tuscan countryside, easy to reach via motorways and railways, it offers the perfect combination for your workation period.

Getting around the area

The suite is located one of the main street of Historic center (Via di Gracciano nel Corso), the nearest parking is 200 meter from the accommodation.

The historic centre of Montepulciano can be easily visited on foot. If you prefer not to walk uphill, there is a minibus service at the medieval town entrance gate (Porta al Prato) which can take you up to the Piazza Grande (the top of the hill), from where you can easily walk downhill. To explore the surroundings with maximum flexibility, it is suggested to rent a
car and park it in one of the large parkings at the edges of the historical centre.
Anyway there are convenient bus connections from the central bus station bringing you to Siena, Firenze, Arezzo, Perugia and to all the iconic towns nearby such as Pienza, Montalcino, Bagno Vignoni.
Also, e-bike rental services are a great option to explore more distant wineries while enjoying the panoramic views.
