This B&B is situated in the historic centre of Dolceacqua known as “a Tera”. All the rooms inside the property are furnished in a typical Ligurian style with the intent of providing a comfortable and home-atmosphere for the guests.
Accommodation
The Ambra room is located inside a B&B and consists of a double room and a private bathroom with shower, hairdryer and free toiletries.
There is a shared kitchen where the guests can easily prepare lunch or dinner with a living area equipped with tables and chairs; If you decide to eat out, the B&B is close to the centre of the Borgo, where you can find all the restaurants and bars. For this accommodation guests can enjoy a sweet breakfast each morning, and various savoury products are also available on request.Â
Furthermore, there is the possibility to relax and sunbath on the terrace with a view of the Dorian Castle and enjoy your workation.
It is possible to use the common areas adjacent to the kitchen to work or on the terrace where there is a comfortable table with chairs and a beautiful view of the castle of Dolceacqua.
Location
Dolceacqua is a typical medieval village in the Nervia valley, along the Nervia river. The oldest part of the village is dominated by the Doria castle and is called “Terra” (Téra in the local dialect) by the locals.
The modern part, called “Borgo”, stretches out on the opposite side. Dolceacqua is a small village but rich in history, legends, traditions, art and culture. In the main street you could find several bars, shops and “Alimentari” (local mini market) where you could buy local products and food.

Getting around the area
Dolceacqua is situated in the hinterland of western Liguria, in the Val Nervia, just a few minutes from the Riviera dei Fiori (Ventimiglia, Bordighera, Sanremo). For those who enjoy cycling there is a cycle path that connects to the sea promenade in about 20-25 minutes.
The nearest railway station is Ventimiglia (10 km from Dolceacqua), from where you can reach the village by a convenient bus service run by Riviera Trasporti. The nearest international airport is Nice (50 km away), alternatively Genova airport.
