Discover the amazing secrets and tricks of the trade Sicilian cheesemakers use to turn milk into tasty and delicious cheese. After seeing the process, you will also have the opportunity to taste many varieties of Sicilian cheese.

What will you do

If you are a cheese lover, close your eyes and let yourself be transported on a journey back in time, inside a Sicilian dairy. Now, open your eyes and you are in the right place to discover and learn how cheese is made.

A process handed down from cheesemaker to cheesemaker and unchanged for generations. From milk to the steaming cauldron we will see all the processes of making Sicilian sheep and goat cheese. And you will taste with us the most important varieties of this simple and structured food.

What is included

  • Welcome greetings and visit to the dairy;
  • Tasting of various cheeses;
  • Presentation of cheeses and explanation of flavours and properties;
  • Making cheese (fresh Tuma) by customizing it with the flavours you like most (pistachio, pepper, chilli, etc. …)
  • Take home the cheese prepared together with the master cheesemaker.
