Description

In an ancient fortified medieval village of Abruzzo, at over 1250 meters altitude stands this charming Scattered Hotel, a project born born from the desire to bring this small fortified town back to life, preserving the integrity of the village, its surroundings and ancient traditions.

The wine bar, restaurant, meeting room and reception lie scattered in separate buildings along the medieval village formerly used as barns, stables, pigsties, wine cellars and farmers’ or shepherds’ lodgings. Wood and stone cottages have been restyled as suites, the village dungeons serve as a wedding room, and a former witch’s lair now hosts business meeting.

It will seem to be in a micro world made of ancient crafts, traditions and uncontaminated nature, the ideal place to organize your company offsite and reconnect body and mind!

Accommodation

Each room has its own character, there is no room similar to the other. The only element that all of them have in common is that they are truly representative of the folk arts and crafts of the location and of the “Arte Povera” (poor art) tradition.

To preserve the unity of the interior aesthetic-affective and avoid the over-use of contemporary elements, they used native objects, often stored in museums, and ancient and traditional local materials The search for the archaic soul of these spaces has led to the preservation of small windows, the dim light, the uneven floors and the choice of single details, such as handmade soaps, made from olive oil and products strictly according to traditional methods.

The 27 rooms could host up to 65 people and are divided into 3 different types:

– 10 Classic rooms: 25 sqm, quen bed or 2 single beds

– 8 Superior Rooms: from 30 to 40 square meters, double queen bed

– 9 Suites: from 40 to 50 sqm, double or twin beds

During your stay, take some time to discover this ancient village through the fortified alleys, the artisan shops, the typical dishes of the tavern, the herbal tea room and through the many activities proposed!
