Description
Central Stone House is located in the main square of Nocera Umbra, adjacent to the Municipal “Pinacoteca” and a few steps from the center of the village where all services are easily reachable on foot without taking the car. The house has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room with kitchen and a study corner where you can arrange your work station.
Accommodation
The house is on three floors. On the access floor there is the large entrance with a kitchen and living area. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven, a microwave, a hob, a fridge and all the useful equipment to cook comfortably during your stay. The whole furniture is simple, but at the same time very well cared for.
On the second floor there is a bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom with shower.
The other double bedroom is located on the lower floor and also includes a private bathroom with shower and an independent external access.
A few steps from the accommodation you will also find free free parking, very convenient if you plan to arrive and move by car!
Location
Nocera Umbra is located in Umbria and is part of the “The Most Beautiful Villages of Italy” circuit for its rich historical and cultural heritage. The village has very ancient origins and is known as the “city of waters” above all for the presence of a great number of mineral springs, in particular the “Angelica spring”.
The historic center is one of the most beautiful medieval villages in Umbria and was completely renovated following the 1997 earthquake. It is a treasure of art and history, including monuments, palaces, ancient gates to the village and places of worship. This was the land where even St. Francis, tired and sick, wanted to take refuge to alleviate his suffering with the healing waters of its springs, the tranquility of the place and the healthy climate, before the last trip to Assisi.
In addition to the historic center, the surroundings also deserve to be discovered slowly, enjoying a suggestive and uncontaminated nature: there are many itineraries for your psycho-physical well-being that you can do on foot, by mountain bike or on horseback. Nocera Umbra is located on the border between Umbria and Marche, the green heart of Italy; it is well connected and easily accessible by both pubblic and private transports. The closest airport is Perugia (about 40 km away), while the nearest railway station is located in Nocera, 3 km from the historic center.
If you decide to get to Nocera Umbra by car, you can take advantage of your free time to comfortably visit the surroundings and well-known places such as Assisi, Gubbio, Spello and Rasiglia.
