Description
The B&B is a historic residence built at the end of the 19th century by the town master builder, with characteristic terraces and windows in a neo-Gothic style, its charm has prompted it to open its doors to guests as well.
The property has 4 recently renovated rooms. Each room of the house overlooks the 360 ​​° panorama of the town since it has access, on one side, to the panoramic terraces, and on the other to the windows.
Accomodation
The bedroom is furnished with restored antiques, in an essential way according to the style of the house. The room has a large double bed, another single bed that can be used as sofa, private bathroom and a desk.
You can take advantage of the terrace outside your room to sunbathe, have breakfast or simply work during the day.
On the first floor, two common areas introduce the house to the atmosphere of other times, with a living room with fireplace and a cozy kitchen.
The B&B serves you in the morning a breakfast with sweets and other delicacies prepared by the hosts, with seasonal fruit and oils of their production!
The B&B offers also an extra service: you will have the kitchen at your complete disposal to prepare meals in full autonomy, which allows you more space and freedom in staying, as well as savings during your workation!
You can therefore prepare lunches and dinners to be enjoyed on the terrace in front of a beautiful panorama or in winter in front of the fireplace.
Location
The B&B is located 50 meters from the main square and 30 mt from the restaurant “Kamastra”.
This ancient village was founded in the 15th century by an Albanian community that had fled their homeland because of Turkish raids. With them, the culture, tradition and language of origin also arrived in the territory, giving rise to one of the most important Arbëresh community in southern Italy.
The Arbereshe language and culture characterise this little town surrounded by nature.
The “Ponte del Diavolo” (Devil’s Bridge) and the “Case Kodra” (Kodra Houses) are just some of the attractions to visit.
Civita is immersed in the heart of the Pollino National Park, infact a few steps from the houses it is possible to practice trekking, climbing or long walks to regenerate body and mind.
In 10 minutes by car it is also possible to reach the Ionian Sea, whose crystalline waters have been awarded by the blue flag since 2014.
Civita is also famous for its food and wine. In its little restaurants you can taste the typical dishes of the traditional cuisine.

Getting around the area
Direct buses are available at the train station and at the bus stop to the main Italian cities (max 18 km away). Rental service to and from Lamezia Terme airport (140 km). The entrance to the main Southern Highway (Salerno -Reggio Calabria)Â is only 7 km from Civita. Own car is recommended. Civita is the starting point for numerous excursions in the Pollino National Park. For the Sea-lovers, the beaches of the Ionian coast (Sibari) are only 15 km away.
