When you arrive in the new square of Ligonchio, at the foot of the imposing historic bell tower, you will find Bar il Faggio. This bar has changed owners a number of times, all rather extravagant and bizarre, but with a single goal: to make you feel at home, because Ligonchio, so small and cosy, in the middle of that expanse of Apennine woods, makes you feel that way!

Whether it’s for a tasty breakfast, a coffee break or a pleasant aperitif, don’t be fooled by Luca’s gruff demeanour, he’s pretending. In reality he always aims to offer you the best products!

At the Bar you can enjoy a quick lunch with a beautiful view of the basin of the hydroelectric power station, built 100 years ago.
Meet up with colleagues for an aperitif, or for a chat over dinner or later in the evening, always ready to enjoy good wine and beer with local people!
In addition to the rich menu consisting of sandwiches, piadas and various types of hamburgers, delicious local cold cuts and cheeses await you, with which you can compose platters to your liking, for a snack at any time.

This restaurant also offers a wide choice of cocktails, as well as organising live music evenings and themed dinners with local specialities such as the famous ‘potato cake’.

Good to know -> the bar provides high speed wifi connection so just in case, you can go there for a coffee or lunch and than you can stay there to work 😉
