The Sicilian Sfincione is undoubtedly the king of Sicilian street food. Through this experience, we will introduce you to a Miller who will take you on a tour of her mill and the preparation of Sfincione with special flours of her own production!
What will you do
This experience will make you feel the real the taste of tradition and genuine products. You will meet a local miller who will first show you her mill where she makes flour from ancient grains and carries on this fantastic tradition.
Once you have chosen the type of flour to use for your sfincione, together with the miller you will choose the ingredients and start preparing the dough.
Tomato sauce, sweet onions, fresh pecorino cheese and anchovies will be the main ingredients to prepare this typical dish.
Once the sfincione is cooked, all that remains is to taste it! The experience will end with the tasting of your freshly baked sfincione, other typical dishes made with ancient grains, and drinks.
